Pastors Michael and Carolyn Byrd were born, raised and married in Baltimore, Maryland. Their marriage was prophesied as a ministry and the hand of God is upon their union. They are the parents of two sons, Lavar and Antonio and the grandparents of three wonderful grandsons, Karaun, Royel and Jeremiah. Both Michael and Carolyn understand and appreciate the meaning of family and makes family a priority in their life.
Pastors Byrd are graduates of the 2007 class of Kingdom University. In addition, they both graduated from the Gary Whetestone Worldwide School of Biblical Studies in Delaware.
January of 2000, the Lord called both Michael and Carolyn in pastorship where they founded, pastored and now cover, Jesus Reign Word Ministries in Baltimore, Maryland.
In 2002, under the Potter’s House Pastoral Alliance in Dallas, Texas, Pastors Byrd received a second ordination by Bishop T.D. Jakes
In October 2007, the Byrds became the new pastors of Embassy center of Empowerment International. Understanding that learning and teaching the Word is a privileged call by God.
Pastors Michael and Carolyn Byrd are called by God to serve His people for these modern times. Prolific, apostolic, and prophetic teachers of the Word of God, they live their lives dedicated to Christ, each other, and their family. They were called together as one in marriage, and their devotion to the sanctity of this Holy union serves as a testament to the world that marriages under God are blessed.
Pastors Byrd is a dynamic team because of their apostolic-prophetic anointing. When Pastor Michael, who flows in the apostolic anointing and Pastor Carolyn, who flows in the prophetic combine their prolific calling God’s work is undeniably present. Through their ministry, which has won many souls for Christ; changing the lives of many men, women, boys and girls, which have afforded them to travel across many states preaching the Word of God.
Pastors Byrd has authored and published two books and currently in the process of third book to be released in spring for marriages.
